- A teenage girl arrived at a hospital with a swelling stomach making the staff think she is pregnant but instead was full of tapeworms, theHuffingtonpost reported.
The girl's mother had been feeding her pills infested with tapeworm eggs so that she could look skinnier to enter a beauty pageant.
The tapeworms had been infesting her body as a result she excreted some of them in the hospital bathroom.
The mother has apologized and has admitted to infesting her daughter's body with tapeworms.
