Manchester United rescued their season by winning the FA
Cup in dramatic fashion against Crystal Palace at Wembley.
The Red Devils came from behind to beat the Eagles 2-1
under the arch, thanks to an extra-time screamer from
Jesse Lingard.
Jason Puncheon had seemingly put Palace on their way to a
first FA Cup when he hammered past David De Gea at his
near post, firing the ball into the roof of the net to spark
scenes of ecstasy among their supporters.
However, Juan Mata replied almost immediately to send the
game into the extra half hour.
