Barcelona are hoping to beat Manchester United to the
signature of Everton defender John Stones, according to
The Sun.
Luis Enrique's side will make an offer of £25 million for
the England international this week as they seek a
replacement for Javier Mascherano, who is set to leave
Camp Nou.
Jose Mourinho has made Stones one of his top targets
since arriving at Old Trafford and could now face a
bidding war which is expected to rise as high as £45m.
